Continuous trading runs 10:00 to 18:00. The published day is 09:40 to 18:10 and wraps an opening auction, a closing auction and a spell of trading at the closing price. Turkey has stayed on permanent UTC+3 since 2016 and does not change clocks, so its distance from London and Frankfurt moves twice a year while Istanbul itself does not. The religious holidays follow the lunar calendar and shift about eleven days earlier each year.
